Mama Woo’s bbq is the BEST restaurant I’ve visited. I’m Korean-American and this was the best spot with the most generous portions and crazy amazing service. The lady in the front is the sweetest and most hardworking lady!! The food here Is ridiculously good and the huge portions make it that much better. You go in and order a plate and choose 4 sides I recommend the eggplant, japchae, pickled cucumbers, and kimchi and even the cabbage too. I ordered the mama special plate and I was truly blown away and felt as if this was the best bang for the buck. 2 meals basically! I Truly will become a regular here!!!

Today I got to try their spicy pork plate for $17.45 and found it to be tasty and they do give a lot, so I was able to have enough for my lunch and saved the rest for dinner. Also, the server is very friendly.

Mama Woo's was pretty bomb. In my opinion the flavor of the side dishes create a heightened experience for the main dish. Yes I got the normal meat Jun but the Jap Chae was one of the best I have had in a while. Their kim chee was on point and the seaweed was not slimy like it was sitting around for a while in the marinade and wasn't over soaked in water. My friend got the fish Jun and he enjoyed it. I will be back! For everyone else take your pick off the menu board, with great customer service from the owner himself. Glad I choose this spot.

For 8 nights, we never had a great Korean food in Waikiki. We have been to 6 different Korean restaurants, but this one, Mama Woo’s got the best Kalbi, Fish Jun and Kimchi Stew. The manager’s quality of service was fabulous and we had the most delicious experience. Will come back for this!

I used to frequent this restaurant 7-8 years ago when I worked nearby, but after changing jobs, I wasn't able to visit as often, though I sometimes missed it. Recently, I heard that it had a new owner, but the former cooking chef is same, so I decided to visit again. It was just like before - the same great taste and clean atmosphere! The new owner was also very kind. The chicken wings sauce was spicy but not greasy, like it was grilled over a fire, and delicious, so the whole family enjoyed it. The pork bulgogi and generous side dishes were also great. I'll definitely be stopping by more often! Highly recommended.

Glad I saw a YouTube video recommending this place. Not just is it a bang for your buck, the ladies working there are so nice and smiley. We got a mini plate and even that was a big box. I love that customers get to pick 4 different ban chains for variety.

Mama Woo’s makes my whole body say “Wooooooo!” No for real, this is the best food on all of Oahu, if you want fast, easy, delicious, well prepared, flavor, simplicity and LEFTOVERS! Oh my god if I could eat here everyday I would. I might even learn Korean just to conversation with these awesome people so they stack my plate extra fat! Amazing! 매우 감사합니다

Tasty homemade Korean food but the process was a little hectic and confusing during peak dinner time. You order from an overhead menu, choose three sides cafeteria style which they scoop right away and then stack until the kitchen makes your main. I went in for two dinner plates (fish jun and bulgogi )and decided to add soup and squid. Everything comes with sides so I ended up with enough food for 5-6 people! The bulgogi and seaweed soup were really good as were most of the sides. It’s standing room only inside so if you can, I would suggest ordering ahead. There were a couple of people waiting when I arrived but the phone kept ringing off the hook as they took our orders. Pandemonium! but more so for us watching I think. Somehow they keep track of all the orders by writing on the boxes. They had a little slip up with my order and apologized profusely for the wait. It didn’t take that long but there were people waiting outside when I left.
